What is Haylie’s Dailies?

Haylie’s Dailies is your online destination for a daily dose of creative content curated just for you. What does this mean? Every day I will create or source a new Instagram post for you to enjoy—whether it’s a photograph with a story behind it, a funny joke, a highlight of a business I enjoy, an inspirational message, a fun video, a review of a great product, etc.

What is a Daily?

A Daily is the post of the day. Meaning, every day I will post one Daily on Instagram. Sometimes a post will expand over here to my site where you can take a deeper dive into the content behind the post.

One day I might post a guide to living in a new city, while the next day could be a joke like, "What did one plate say to the other? Dinner's on me!" (Ba-dum-CHING!) The next day I might post the best hashtags to get your dog noticed on Instagram, and then follow that with a good drink recipe. I'll keep it fresh and fun, and we’ll all have a good time together.

When you say you’ll “source” a post, what does that mean?

I love creating original content, and I’m excited to bring a lot of that to Haylie’s Dailies! Unfortunately, my name doesn’t rhyme with “weekly” and I want to make sure my posts are filled with quality content. Therefore, I’ll also be sourcing creative content from other bloggers and creative humans around the web—linking credit back ALWAYS of course! All content will fit with my brand and I’ll only post content you will enjoy.

How are you different from other bloggers and creative sites?

I LOVE following bloggers and reading articles online. I so deeply appreciate and respect the creativity that goes into developing something from scratch. So how am I different? Well, you won’t see me standing in front of a mirror in the latest trendy clothes and makeup...but that’s only because I’m not fashionable and still put my eyeshadow on with a Q-tip...so likeee...no one wants to see that. So instead, I will sit back and watch all of those amazing and creative humans while I run Haylie’s Dailies! Haylie's Dailies brings you a post every day. You never know what type of a post it will be, but I can promise you it will be worth checking back on a daily basis.

What is the inspiration behind Haylie’s Dailies?

Two words: creative outlet. (Okay, maybe I need more than two words to explain this one…)

When I was just a young gal my class was tasked with developing a newsletter. This project was perfect for me, and I titled mine "Haylie's Dailies." I used to write for hours and hours developing content for my fake little column. I think the most popular read among my collection of stuffed animals was, "It's Parachute Day in gym class. A guide to why this is the BEST DAY EVER!" I guess this was kind of like my first blog! Man, I’m so ahead of the times! #blessed

So now, it’s time to launch my creativity out into the world. My thoughts and words will be a little more grown up, but maybe I'll throw a parachute post in there at some point for old times’ sake...

What is your creative background?

I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by creative people throughout my entire personal and professional life. My mom is a multi-faceted artist and my dad is a creative copywriter. I have a degree in Communication with a double concentration in Public Relations and Production. In my professional life, I’ve held a marketing position for a big city magazine and currently work for a national digital marketing agency. I also have a side hustle with a colleague where I write creative copy for websites, marketing campaigns, etc. 

Also, I have a dog named Joey. (I just feel like this is important to mention because I love him so much and you’ll probably be reading about him a lot…)
