1. Spooky Cauldron featuring an Essential Oils Diffuser

I recently stumbled upon this bewitching idea on Instagram and instantly fell in love with it. Grab a black witch's cauldron - I got mine from the Dollar Tree. Cut a hole in the back. Place your essential oils diffuser inside. If your diffuser lights up, it's even better! (This is the diffuser I use.)

To enhance the ambiance, I used these fall-themed essential oils, and for an extra touch, I cut up red pool noodles from the Dollar Tree to fill the cauldron. This is an easy addition to your party that's sure to be a real conversation starter!

2. Harry Potter Style floating Candles (with a wand!) and hanging Witches Hats

You've probably seen these enchanted hanging candles on Instagram. They were the star attraction of our party!

These hanging candles come with a wand, and the kids had a blast turning them on and off with a simple #Lumos! 🪄

I added these witches hats for that extra touch of magic and hung everything at varying heights. (And bonus >> the spiders on the wall came with the hats!)

3. Coloring Pages for Mini Monsters

Keep the little ones entertained with a kids' table filled with creative activities. I designed these Halloween-themed coloring and activity pages you can easily print out for free here.

I also found these make-a-face Halloween sticker sheet sets on Amazon that include 36 sticker sheets in a pack.

4. Poison Apple Cocktail

For the adults, we served a wickedly simple Poison Apple Cocktail. Just mix apple cider, cranberry, and grenadine in a container. To add a hint of spice, I filled plastic shot syringes with Fireball. I added frozen cranberries for decoration and to keep the drink cold, and put out orange slices for garnish.

I created the Poison Apple sign, you can download it here.

Single serving:

1/3 cup apple cider

1/3 cup cranberry juice

1 oz grenadine

2 oz Fireball (optional for adults)

Orange slices for garnish (optional)

15 servings for a pitcher:

5 cups apple cider

5 cups cranberry juice

2 cups grenadine

3.75 cups Fireball (optional for adults)

Orange slices for garnish (optional)

5. Howl-o-ween Treats for Pups

If your paw-ty is dog-friendly, make sure to include some treats for the furry friends. I picked up some festive dog treats and placed them in a cute bowl.

To make it extra special, I created a paw-ty sign using my Cricut. You can download it here.

6. Chicken Fingers

(Get it?) For a fun twist, my Mom made chicken fingers that looked like, well, fingers! Sliced almonds served as the perfect "nails" on top.

You can use whatever dipping sauce your kids like as the “glue” for the almonds. The kids loved grabbing these eerie treats!

7. Pick your poison bar sign

If you have a bar at your party, this is the perfect sign! I created this one on my Cricut. You can download it here.

9. Popcorn Mix with Cauldrons

This was a last-minute addition that turned out to be a crowd-pleaser. I purchased this set of cauldrons from Amazon. It includes 12 mini cauldrons and 1 larger cauldron. These cauldrons were smaller than I expected, but they worked perfectly for the size party that I had.

I just put popcorn in the larger cauldron and an assortment of snacks like M&Ms, mini marshmallows, googly eyes, and chocolate chips in the smaller ones. Then, guests mixed up their own spooky snack!
